Accounts Payable Clerk

The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in every task This role is to report directly to the Director of Finance and is based in our Los Angeles office. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building RESPONSIBILITIES: Project base audits on client trust disbursements. Provide full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice review and timely payment processing. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions in the accounting system. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal department procedures and external vendor requirements. Assist with month-end deadlines, special projects, and annual 1099 preparation QUALIFICATIONS: At least 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable and IOLTA/Trust Accounting, ideally in law firm environment Resourceful and Motivated Problem Solver Ability to work in high volume and fast paced environment with proven track record in meeting department deadlines BENEFITS AND SALARY: Employer pays 100% of employee medical and dental premiums (PPO or HMO options) Paid vacation, holidays, and sick days 401(k) plan and cash pension plan 1 day a week work from home Paid parking Free onsite gym We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
