Job Description As a Security Officer Access Operations in Mesquite, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.16 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying identification, authorizations, visitor credentials, and delivery or driver check-in requirements. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures. Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitors, contractor access, vehicle entries, incidents, and other security-related activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Minimum Requirements: Be 21 years of age or older. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
