Investment Banking Vice President - Healthcare Services/Life Sciences M&A | Remote Option

Blacklock is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Vice President to join a growing Healthcare Services and Life Sciences M&A team. This is an opportunity to take a senior execution role within a highly active platform, working directly with senior bankers, management teams and strategic buyers on complex M&A transactions across the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the day-to-day execution of M&A transactions across Healthcare Services and Life Sciences
• Managing transaction processes from initial pitch and preparation through due diligence, negotiation, and closing
• Developing and reviewing financial models, valuation analyses, transaction materials, and client presentations
• Coordinating with clients, private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, legal advisers, accountants, and other transaction stakeholders
• Managing and mentoring Associates and Analysts while maintaining a high standard of execution
• Supporting senior bankers with deal origination, pitches, and broader business development initiatives
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry participants
• Developing a deep understanding of sector trends, valuation dynamics, and key strategic themes across healthcare
• Taking increasing responsibility for client coverage and new business development

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Significant investment banking or M&A advisory experience, with experience operating at the Vice President level or readiness to step into a VP position
• A strong track record of executing M&A transactions
• Experience within Healthcare Services, Life Sciences, or a closely related healthcare vertical
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and transaction execution skills
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities
• Experience managing junior deal team members
• The ability to manage multiple live workstreams and transactions effectively
• Strong commercial judgement and confidence interacting directly with senior clients
• A collaborative, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to operate effectively in a flexible/remote working environment
