Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an OB Hospitalist Physician, you will join a thriving multi-specialty group in the Sacramento, CA area. You will play a critical role in providing exceptional obstetric care within a dynamic hospital setting in the Sacramento region. In this role you will cover the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and be available for surgical assist needs ensuring seamless medical support for critical procedures. This role involves active participation in a growing hospitalist program, collaborating with a large network of specialists to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care. Opportunity Highlights:

• Incoming physicians would be based out of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento
• Hospital does approximately 1800 births/year
• 24 hour back-up Ob on-call.
• Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts.
• Additional compensation provided for doing additional shifts.
• Level II nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center
• Generous compensation and benefits

• Employer provided tail insurance.
• Active board certification required.

We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:

• Shareholder track, competitive compensation with bonus potential, desirable benefits
• Option for additional income with hospitalist and back-up shifts at regional hospitals
• Compensation Range: $330,000 - $339,000 /year with opportunities for additional call pay

Job Requirements

Required:

• MD or DO degree
• Board-Certified in OB/Gyn (ABMS or AOA)
• Active or eligible license in the state of California
• DEA certification
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
