Urgent Care Physician

Accelerated Urgent Care is seeking a compassionate Urgent Care Physician to provide 100% telemedicine services to patients in California’s Central Valley. Deliver timely, evidence-based care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries through virtual visits. Responsibilities include assessing symptoms, reviewing medical histories, making diagnoses, prescribing appropriate treatment, documenting encounters, and directing patients to in-person or emergency care when needed. Work with a collaborative clinical and administrative team committed to patient-focused service and clinical excellence. Candidates must hold an active California medical license and be board-certified or board-eligible in an appropriate specialty. Urgent care or telehealth experience is preferred. Collect patient histories and assess symptoms using telemedicine tools. Make diagnoses and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate. Document visits and treatment decisions in electronic health records. Educate patients on treatment, follow-up, and prevention. Identify patients requiring in-person evaluation or emergency escalation. Coordinate care with clinical and administrative colleagues.
