Quality Technician - 2nd ShiftJoin our dynamic team as a Quality Technician on the 2nd shift. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products in a regulated industry, with a preference for experience in the medical, aerospace, or automotive sectors.ResponsibilitiesReview product non-conformances and device history records (DHRs).Complete quality documentation related to part defects and inspection plans.Understand and assess technical drawings, dimensions, and required specifications.Communicate with operators on the production floor regarding non-conforming materials.Assist with supplier change request forms and quality documentation, including FMEA and PPAPs.Essential Skills0-3+ years of experience in a regulated industry (medical preferred).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with quality inspection, quality control, and inspection tools.Familiarity with quality documentation, schematics, PPAP, and FAIRs.Proficiency in Excel for data collection and analysis.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
