Baker Smith is seeking talented Project Technicians and Designers with civil design experience to support our growing teams throughout Louisiana and Texas! Review, analyze and reduce raw data from field operations. Prepares designs, drawings, reports, and calculations for the project. Work closely with Environmental Project Managers and Project Teams to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete. Helps to Identify improvements to enhance our service to clients. Collaborates on assignments as part of a team involved in the planning, organizing, and developing of projects, and maintains proper documentation and reports. Assist other project teams or departments with technical, field, or other duties as needed or requested. Desired Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Drafting and Design. 1-3 years of proven experience in CADD drafting/design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlson Survey, ArcGIS Pro software and MS Office. Experience in forestry, wildlife, fisheries, botany, or similar fields is a plus, but not a requirement. Self-motivation and the ability to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail is a must. Willingness to participate in field work occasionally for project opportunities.
