Experience: Minimum 2 years required

License: ARRT CT required

Certifications: BLS required

Must-Have: Must have ARRT CT certification in hand at time of submission. Level 1 trauma center and high complex cases experience preferred. Experience with Siemens scanners is preferred. Outpatient and inpatient work setting experience required.

Description: The CT Tech position is for weekend nights from Saturday to Tuesday. The shift is from 20:00 to 06:30. Daily caseload per tech is expected. First-timers are accepted for this position. Weekend work is required. On-call duties are not required. The clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs. No floating to sister facilities is required. Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius. Pending state license is not accepted. There are no restrictions on time off (RTO). Special requirements include level 1 trauma center and complex cases experience. General skills experience required includes PACS and Contrast administration. CT procedure experience required includes Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction. Preferred CT procedure experience includes Aspirations/Biopsies, Brain Perfusion, Colonography, CT Arthrography, Drainage, Myelography, and Transplant Studies. The facility is a short-term acute care teaching hospital with a total of 1259 staffed beds. The charting system used is Epic. All travelers are expected to fulfill the terms of their signed agreement in full. Travelers must complete required compliance documents before starting. Fit testing for facial hair is mandatory for proper testing. Certifications for ACLS are required for specific roles.
