The Intensive Care Unit( ICU) is a 12-bed critical care unit that provides comprehensive care for hemodynamically unstable patietns. The unit delivers advance, evidence base therapies including continuos renal replacement therapy (CRRT), intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella management and targeted temperature management (TTM). The ICU is a closed unit and is staffed by a multidisciplinary team with specialized critical care expertise to provide continuous monitoring and rapid intervention, and high quality, patient centered care for patients with complex medical and surgical needs. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC.
