Business Analyst

Business AnalystSirius Staffing is currently hiring a Business Analyst for a long-term contract position based onsite in Jackson, MS. Schedule: Monday-Friday. 8a-5p. This position will work closely with stakeholders to analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, develop and document procedures, and provide ongoing project and operational support.Key Responsibilities:Assist with process mapping to document current-state and future-state business processes.Develop new procedures, workflows, process documentation, and supporting materials.Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.Provide ongoing analytical, administrative, and project support to business teams.Lead and support business analysis activities for projects and operational initiatives.Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.Analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.Facilitate meetings and requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.Partner with stakeholders to clearly define business needs, challenges, and desired outcomes.Develop reports, presentations, process maps, business cases, and other project documentation.Support strategic initiatives and process-improvement efforts.Maintain organized and accurate business documentation.Mentor junior analysts and review work for accuracy and completeness, as needed.Communicate recommendations and findings effectively to stakeholders and leaders.Requirement:4–7+ years of relevant Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, or similar experience.Demonstrated experience with business process analysis and process mapping.Experience developing and documenting procedures, workflows, and business processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Ability to develop professional reports, presentations, and business documentation.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong business acumen with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.Previous experience working with Entergy.Experience within Power Delivery, Transmission, utilities, energy, or a related industry.Experience supporting large organizations with complex business processes and multiple stakeholdersSirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
