This role is designed for a remote work setting, enabling our team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing exceptional care to clients. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, participating in regular virtual meetings and collaborative sessions with colleagues to ensure effective communication and integration of therapy practices. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including guided mindfulness practices and stress reduction techniques tailored to clients’ unique needs.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, identifying clients' mental health needs, stressors, and therapeutic goals to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques that foster emotional regulation and self-awareness.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and stress management techniques, creating an interactive and supportive environment.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care, integrating mindfulness practices into broader treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans, ensuring all records are thorough and compliant with ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular self-reflection and personal mindfulness practice, continually enhancing your own expertise in MBSR and related techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population at our outpatient facility, primarily focusing on individuals who are experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. By implementing mindfulness-based interventions, you will provide clients with the tools and skills needed to navigate their emotional landscapes more effectively, ultimately helping them lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York, enabling you to practice independently.

• Demonstrable proficiency in delivering mindfulness techniques within therapeutic contexts, with a strong emphasis on self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to establish a supportive therapeutic alliance with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, specifically with an emphasis on mindfulness-based practices.

• Training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or other related mindfulness approaches is highly desirable, but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
