Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop tailored therapy plans addressing their specific mental health concerns and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care to individuals, couples, and groups.

• Work collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team, which may include psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers to create and maintain a comprehensive treatment plan.

• Ensure compliance with all clinical documentation guidelines and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and supervision to stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population that ranges from children and adolescents to adults and families, presenting various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance misuse. Our clinic's goal is to ensure that every individual feels heard, validated, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• You must hold a valid license to practice as a mental health counselor in New York State (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).

• Strong ethical standards and excellent interpersonal skills are essential to foster trusting relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred, ideally working with children, adolescents, and families.
