Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position located south of San Jose, California, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess referred patients to determine speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations and patient/family goals.
• Administer evidence-based speech-language pathology interventions.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress.
• Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff on treatment plans and techniques.
• Assist patients in achieving maximum independence and functional communication.
• Maintain efficient, high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Mentor new employees and volunteers as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and interdisciplinary team members.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current California Speech-Language Pathology License or temporary license with commitment to obtain permanent license within one year.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• No prior SLP experience required; new graduates encouraged.
