Development Manager

Job Location: Legal Address - NEW ROCHELLE, NY 10801 Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 Salary/year Job Purpose The Development Manager at Boys and Girls Club of New Rochelle Inc is responsible for leading and executing the organization's fundraising strategies. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the club by developing and maintaining relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners. The Development Manager will work to enhance the club's visibility and reputation, while aligning fundraising efforts with the club's mission to support youth development. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans to meet the financial goals of the organization. Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors, sponsors, and community partners. Organize and oversee fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring they are executed effectively and efficiently. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials that enhance the visibility and appeal of fundraising initiatives. Manage donor databases and track fundraising progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants and corporate sponsorships. Prepare and present regular reports on fundraising activities and outcomes to the executive team and board of directors. Lead and mentor a team of fundraising professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in fundraising practices. Qualifications Required Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. Required Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field within a nonprofit organization. Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and donor relationship management. Experience in managing and leading a team, with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Familiarity with the Boys and Girls Club mission and programs is preferred. Required Skills and Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in donor management software and fundraising databases. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues, donors, and community partners.
