About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Space Planning and Utilization to provide strategic leadership in the optimization and allocation of space across its various facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive, long-range space planning strategy that aligns with the institution's mission and growth objectives. This includes forecasting future space needs, driving planning for new facilities and renovations, and ensuring efficient utilization of the existing portfolio. The role also involves serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, collaborating with key partners, and managing the specific space needs of the institution's various schools and departments. Applicants for the Associate Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in space planning, facilities management, or capital planning, ideally within a healthcare, life sciences, or academic setting. The role requires expertise in space utilization analytics, occupancy planning, and technology-driven solutions, as well as exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
