To see that mission to fruition in a new era at the New York institution, commencing with the current 2025-2026 season, Lear deBessonet assumes the role of Kewsong Lee Artistic Director, alongside Managing Director Mike Schleifer, Executive Producer Barlett Sher, Stacey and Eric Mindich Producer Nicole Kastrinos, Executive Director of Development and Planning Naomi Grabel, and LCT3 Artistic Director and Producer Maria Manuela Goyanes. Founded in 1985 by Board Chair Hon. John V. Lindsay, Executive Producer Bernard Gersten and Director Gregory Mosher, and led for 33 years by Andr Bishop, LCT is one of the leading nonprofit theaters in the country, producing an annual season of plays and musicals that have been seen by millions around the globe. It is one of 11 autonomous constituents of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Each year, the three theaters that make up LCT welcome nearly 300,000 audience members to its home on the Lincoln Center campus. Over the last 40 years, LCT and its outstanding productions have received many of the highest accolades, including 87 Tony Awards, 97 Drama Desk Awards, 79 Outer Critics Circle Awards, 33 Obies, 11 NY Drama Critics Circle Awards, and one Pulitzer Prize, as well as two finalists.

Position Summary:

Lincoln Center Theater is seeking a part-time assistant to work with the Learning English and Drama (LEAD) team in the Education and Community Engagement department. The length of this position is from September 2026 to June 2027.

Responsibilities:

This person would support various aspects of the program including:

• Tracking teaching artists' schedules and prepping them for payroll.
• Sourcing and assembling workshop materials and coordinating pickup with teaching artists.
• Supporting catering, materials, and A/V needs for on-site professional development workshops and LEAD convening.
• Creating programs, flyers, signs, etc. for workshops and LEAD convening.
• Helping organize LEAD resources.
• Assembling and collecting student and teacher surveys, and processing LEAD data
• Contributing ideas for teacher and teaching artist professional development workshops.
• Participate in planning meetings for convenings and outside PD, when available.

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Knowledge of the LEAD Project and its goals and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite applications, and Asana.

Compensation:

The position pays $30 per hour, working 5-10 hours per week (not to exceed 350 hours in the fiscal year).
