Pay Rate: $28/hour

Contract Duration: 2-year W2 assignment

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite, 5 days per week

Position Overview

A leading Southern California utility and energy services company is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Program Assistant to support its Application Intake and Processing teams. This position involves handling incoming mail, preparing applications for processing, assisting with document scanning and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) activities, and supporting high-volume administrative workflows.

The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, organize, and process incoming mail and application materials.
• Assist with Optical Character Recognition (OCR), document scanning, and data capture activities.
• Prepare, review, and organize applications for processing.
• Support application processing, data entry, and document verification as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling high volumes of applications.
• Transition between intake, OCR, and processing responsibilities based on daily operational needs.
• Meet productivity expectations while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient application workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in administrative support, data entry, mail processing, document management, or similar operational roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume environment.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with office applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Flexibility and willingness to support multiple functions based on business needs
