Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist

To provide essential respiratory care, the full-time Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist will assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders during night shifts at Orlando Regional Medical Center, while also maintaining patient records and operating necessary equipment. Key responsibilities Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, initiating therapeutic procedures as needed Maintain accurate documentation and patient records while ensuring compliance with healthcare policies Operate and manage respiratory care equipment, including non-invasive ventilators and arterial blood gas analyzers Required qualifications Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences, or equivalent certification if licensed prior to December 31, 1987 Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Florida Eligibility for the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) exam Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Basic computer/mechanical training required
