Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves supporting healthcare providers by managing patient care tasks and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines. Respond promptly to telephone inquiries and triage as needed, offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education to patients.
• Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and documenting findings accurately in electronic medical records. Communicate abnormal patient conditions to providers and ensure patients understand discharge instructions.
• Assist providers with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management under supervision. Manage sample medications and logs, coordinate patient testing and referrals, and support minor surgeries and physical exams. Obtain consents for invasive procedures and immunizations, distribute educational materials, and verify patient comprehension of treatments and medications. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as required.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Monitor and order necessary clinical supplies to keep exam rooms fully prepared.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program. Work Shift: 7:30am – 4:30pm, full-time, 40 hours per week. This opportunity is located in a welcoming healthcare environment serving the Midwest region of the United States.
