Position: Tool and Die Machinist
Pay: $27.00/hr
Shift: 7:00am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday; Overtime/weekends as needed
Location: Munster, IN
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Tool and Die Machinist to start IMMEDIATELY at $27.00/hr.
Responsibilities
- Build, repair, modify, and maintain tooling, dies, molds, fixtures, and precision components
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, CNC machines, and drill presses
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Measure and inspect parts with precision instruments
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform corrective maintenance
- Assemble and test tooling components
- Maintain tool inventory and records
- Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness
- Collaborate with engineers, maintenance, and production teams to optimize tooling performance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical training in machining, tool and die, or manufacturing technology preferred
- Experience in toolroom, machining, or maintenance environments
- Knowledge of CNC programming and operation (beneficial)
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand tolerances
- Experience with precision measuring equipment
- Basic math and geometry skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
