Work Environment\n

This is a full-time remote role, blending the benefits of working from home with the collaborative environment of a community health clinic. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess mood disorders, relationship dynamics, and family functioning.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals and preferences, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Engage in active collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients.
\n
• Provide continual support and education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
\n
• Analyze and monitor client progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative care and share insights.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work to destigmatize mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families navigating challenges related to relationship conflict, family dynamics, and mood disorders. You will provide essential support to clients, assisting them in overcoming obstacles that hinder their mental health and family relationships.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A current and active California state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate a trusting relationship with clients through empathy, active listening, and a nonjudgmental approach.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle a dynamic caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in delivering therapy for divorce and relationship issues is highly preferred. Familiarity with specific therapeutic approaches such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, and narrative therapy will enhance your effectiveness in this position.
