Position Overview FWC has a current opportunity available for a Labor and Employment Attorney. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in matters involving Employment, Labor Law and PAGA experience and be a current member of the California State Bar from an ABA‑accredited law school. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Independently manage a high-volume caseload from inception through resolution. Consistently engage in the preparation of client reports, both formal and informal. Handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances, depositions, trial preparation, and legal research. Manage written discovery and prepare for depositions. Conduct fact investigations, participate in law and motion practice, and interface with expert witnesses. Engage in social media investigations relevant to casework. Collaborate with team members while also working independently. Qualifications JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school Admitted to practice in California Minimum of 5 years Employment, Labor Law and PAGA experience, preferably defense litigation Experience managing written discovery and preparing for depositions Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must possess strong written and analytical skills, as well as be committed to exceptional client service. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to multitask. Detail-oriented and strong rapport-building skills. Exercising a high degree of initiative, independence, and the ability to meet time frames in performing assigned tasks.
