As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate professionally, and assist with routine security-related activities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Document daily activities, incidents, and access control exceptions accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. This is primarily a driving post. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
