Development Manager

A growing commercial real estate development firm is seeking a Development Manager to oversee the planning and execution of commercial and data center developments across the United States. This individual will play a key role in managing projects from pre-development through construction completion while partnering with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and capital partners. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of commercial and data center development projects, from due diligence and entitlements through construction and project delivery. Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and municipalities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Support financial underwriting, project budgeting, and development pro formas in partnership with finance and executive leadership. Monitor construction progress, manage project risks, and oversee consultant and contractor performance. Collaborate with acquisitions, finance, and operations teams to successfully execute development initiatives across a national portfolio. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, Business, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred . 5+ years of commercial real estate development or construction management experience , with exposure to large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center projects. Strong understanding of development, design, construction, budgeting, scheduling, and project delivery. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
