About the Role Lateral Link is assisting a prestigious law firm in Chicago that's looking to add a Corporate Associate with 2-6 years of experience to its preeminent team. Qualifications The ideal candidate must have 2-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as day-to-day corporate counseling matters in a large law firm setting . Candidates must have an active license to practice law in Illinois, the ability to waive in, or be willing and able to sit for the Illinois Bar. A law degree from a top 25 law school with excellent academic credentials, or graduating in the top 10% from a Top 50 law school, is highly preferred. Responsibilities Interact directly with clients and take increasing responsibility on deals, drafting and negotiating complex documents. Provide guidance on the full spectrum of transaction-related matters, including M&A, PE, general corporate counseling, and governance. Pay range and compensation package $260-$420K base , plus bonus and full benefits package.
