Mammography Technologist

Day Shift 9.5 hours/day 5 days/week Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Whitecap Search Healthcare Partners is seeking a skilled professional to join a leading outpatient imaging center in Brooklyn as part of a growing team. Responsibilities Perform mammography procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care. Operate mammography equipment and utilize appropriate technical factors, including compression, exposure modes, filters, kVp, mAs, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, and photo cell selection to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Maintain compliance with all regulatory, quality assurance, and safety standards. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient outcomes. Prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to changing patient volumes in a busy clinical environment. Troubleshoot imaging challenges and contribute to process improvements that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the field. ARRT (R)(M) Certification required. New York State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required. BLS Certification required. Strong technical expertise and attention to detail. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
