The Machine Builder at Koops constructs and assembles custom automation equipment used by manufacturers across a wide range of industries. From mechanical assemblies to electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, this role brings innovative automation solutions to life.

What You'll Do- Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems for custom automation equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentation
- Plan and execute the build of complex machine assemblies
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and automation-related issues
- Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and fellow builders to meet project goals
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Manage time effectively to support project schedules and deadlines
- Travel up to 10–15% to support machine installation and startup activities

Qualifications- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience assembling complex mechanical equipment or machinery
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management and organizational abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10–15%
- Ownership mentality and desire to continuously learn and grow
