Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol in Hagerstown, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:59 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:59 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and observe the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
