Join us and be part of our inspiring journey.How you'll make a difference:Project manage moderately complex or mid-size congresses/event elements including pre-planning and post congress communicationsDevelop and track project plans; track milestones and alert to deadlines.Negotiate contracts as neededPlan and execute mid-size scale regional conferences independentlyManages deliverables and payments to Congress Associations; track and reconcile all project budgetsOversee and facilitate all ancillary meetings and requests at national congressesParticipate in site evaluationsInitiate and implement of all consulting agreements, non-discloser agreements and RFAA contracts; serve as liaison with legal department.Assist with event planning responsibilities such as communications, travel, AV, onsite set-up and F&B planningOther duties as assigned by ManagementWhat you'll need (Required):Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of previously related work experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria RequiredWhat else we look for (Preferred):Proven expertise in MS Office SuiteExperience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria PreferredOther: Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Preferred OrOther: Certified Meeting Professional healthcare subspecialty (CMP-HC) PreferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skillsGood problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skillsSolid knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to strategic event planningStrict attention to detailAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levelsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environmentMust be able to work in a team environment with global marketing team and cross functional partnersAbility to build productive internal/external working relationshipsAdhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/controlAligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.For California, the base pay range for this position is $68,000 to $96,000 (highly experienced).The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
