Why This Role Matters As a Loan Advisor Assistant, you are often the first touchpoint for borrowers exploring specialty loan options such as construction, renovation, and chattel financing. The role ensures borrowers feel supported and properly connected to licensed loan advisors who can deliver the right loan solutions, driving lead conversion and maintaining compliance. Responsibilities Manage and convert specialty leads (construction, renovation, and chattel) into qualified mortgage applications. Conduct high‑volume outbound outreach, averaging 40–50 calls per day, while maintaining a professional and consultative approach. Interview prospective borrowers to gather financial and credit information. Seamlessly connect qualified borrowers with licensed loan advisors for next‑step consultations. Maintain strong working knowledge of specialty lending programs and eligibility requirements. Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and company mortgage regulations and policies. Maintain required state mortgage licensing standards applicable to the role. Provide regular updates to the Business Development Manager and Loan Advisors on lead conversion performance and loan status. Work toward monthly production and conversion goals. Support additional responsibilities based on experience and competencies. What You Bring Active NMLS license preferred, licensed in at least one state. Candidates who have passed the NMLS SAFE Exam and require sponsorship will also be considered. High School Diploma or GED required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Demonstrated understanding of mortgage products, lending criteria, and basic credit analysis. Ability to manage multiple leads and applications simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations and internal compliance standards. Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on customer experience and ethical lending practices. Alignment with and embodiment of eLEND’s core values. A Day in the Life Making outbound calls to specialty leads and responding to inbound inquiries. Conducting borrower interviews and reviewing financial details. Coordinating closely with Loan Advisors to ensure smooth handoffs. Updating lead statuses and reporting conversion metrics. Ensuring documentation and conversations remain compliant. Compensation & Benefits $23‑$29 per hour plus incentives per loan (commensurate with experience). 401(k) plan. Generous paid time off and holiday schedule. Final conversation is a panel with Loan Officers. Location Hybrid preferred at our Parsippany, NJ, Oklahoma City, OK, or Tampa, FL locations: 3 days on site, 2 remote days.
