Internal Medicine physician job in New York : A well-renowned healthcare organization in New York State is looking to add a licensed Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine Physician to their Primary Care team at an outpatient practice in Rockland County.About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: Standard businessSetting: OutpatientPatient Population: AdultsPatient Volume: 15 to 20 patients per dayResponsibilities:Coordinate and manage various aspects of their patients' medical needsEvaluate patients' symptoms, medical history, and perform physical examinations to diagnose illnesses accuratelyAdvise patients on maintaining a healthy diet, exercising, getting vaccinations, and managing risk factors like smoking, alcohol consumption, and stressManage chronic conditions, adjust treatment plans, and provide guidance on how to effectively manage these ongoing health issuesEducate patients about their health conditions, medications, and treatment plansPerform regular health check-ups to monitor patients' overall health statusMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for their patientsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:License to practice Medicine in the State of New YorkBoard Eligible / Certified in Internal MedicineDesired Qualifications:Bilingual (English and Spanish)Your privacy is important to us.
