Business Operations Specialist

The BCA Engineering Business Operations team is seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Specialist – Management System extraordinaire in Everett, WA. This role drives business planning and decision‑making across the BCA value stream, working closely with senior executives and learning the BCA Quality business. Position Responsibilities Design and manage the operating rhythm to support business needs and priorities, including meeting cadence, look‑aheads, reporting cycles, event engagement and communication channels. Provide timely data analysis and business insights; create reports, dashboards and presentations supporting business needs. Establish metrics, track performance, provide updates on status, trends, risks and opportunities; conduct variance analysis and develop recovery plans. Ensure integration across programs/functions and the enterprise on management system and integration requirements; facilitate data sharing and collaboration. Establish content, data, onboarding and presentation standards to ensure consistency and accuracy. Support decision‑making by providing data, analysis, strategic thinking and tools; help leaders conduct scenario analysis and evaluate options. Conduct periodic reviews of the management system, anticipate evolving needs, gather feedback and implement updates and enhancements. Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel. Basic Qualifications (Required) 7+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Bachelor’s degree or higher. Experience collaborating across multiple functions. Experience gathering and analyzing data. Ability to articulate and link the business lifecycle across all functions. Embraces speed and agility to drive innovation and results. The specific programs and options vary by location, date of hire and collective bargaining agreements. Pay is based on experience, qualifications, market and business considerations.
