Phlebotomist, Per Diem

Phlebotomist (Per Diem) Purpose & Scope The major duty of this position is the collection of blood specimens for laboratory testing. The majority of patients drawn are inpatients, but staff is cross‑trained to assist in other areas. In addition to phlebotomy, some computer work is required. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) One year of healthcare/medical phlebotomy experience (required) One year of hospital experience (preferred) Computer experience (preferred) Certification/Licensure None required.
