Transaction Advisory Senior Consultant

Responsibilities Perform and assist in buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity, mezzanine funds, and strategic buyers. Analyze large volumes of data to prepare an Excel data book, emphasizing quality of earnings, debt and debt‑like, and net working capital analysis. Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies, and challenge target assumptions. Assist and lead sections of due diligence meetings with target management. Create and design tailored reports for key issues such as normalized earnings, financial reporting, networking capital trends, and indebtedness considerations. Communicate due diligence findings confidently, verbally and in written reports. Collaborate and work within teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery. Develop and strengthen productive working relationships with client personnel. Collaborate with other Elliott Davis team members. Qualifications A minimum of three years of experience with audit or transaction services. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. Current licensed CPA preferred. Big 4, National or large regional firm experience preferred. Excellent analytical and Microsoft Excel skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Aptitude toward business development. Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting issues. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi‑task). Superior client service focus. Ability to travel to client locations as required.
