Production Operator

Production Laborer

The General Laborer supports a closed-loop manufacturing process that recycles post-production polycarbonate and PVC scrap into new, durable thermoplastic products. This role helps maintain efficient line operations, contributes directly to reducing plastic waste, and supports the production of plastic sheets used in applications such as protective Plexiglass for restaurants, schools, and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Support various functions along the production line, including palletizing and quality inspection of plastic sheets.
• Operate and assist with manufacturing and packaging equipment as directed to maintain steady line production.
• Perform visual and basic quality checks on plastic sheets to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
• Handle general labor tasks such as replenishing materials, unloading and loading products, and basic material handling.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while working on and around manufacturing machinery.
• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience working on a production line in roles such as general labor or material handling.
• Ability to perform unloading, loading, and replenishment tasks safely and efficiently.
• Basic familiarity with machine operation in a manufacturing or packaging setting.
• Machine operation, packaging, or line production.
• Comfort working in a 24/7 manufacturing operation with rotating or varied shifts.
• Versatility to move between different tasks such as palletizing, inspections, and material handling.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
