School-Based Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or CMHC)

At LivWell Behavioral, we believe some of the most meaningful support happens while students are actively navigating the challenges of daily life. We’re seeking a fully licensed therapist to provide individual therapy services to children and adolescents through our growing school-based behavioral health program in the East Valley. This role offers the opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships, work closely with families and school partners, and make a direct impact on the emotional well-being of youth in your community. What You’ll Do As a School-Based Therapist, you’ll provide direct clinical services to children and adolescents while managing your own caseload from intake through discharge. Responsibilities Include Providing individual therapy to children and adolescents (ages 5–17) Conducting clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations Developing and managing individualized treatment plans Monitoring client progress and adjusting interventions as needed Collaborating with caregivers, school staff, and treatment team members Participating in the intake process and identifying appropriate services Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation Providing crisis intervention and support when necessary Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development Required Qualifications What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field Fully independent Arizona licensure: LPC LCSW LMFT CMHC Equivalent independent clinical license Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat behavioral health conditions Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills Preferred Experience Experience working with children and adolescents School-based, community-based, or outpatient therapy experience Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Expressive Arts Therapy Other evidence-based treatment approaches Experience developing treatment plans and conducting behavioral assessments Why Therapists Choose LivWell Meaningful Clinical Work Focus on helping children and adolescents overcome challenges and build lifelong skills.
