This position works with and supports all co-workers and teams within the production process.The Role: This position works with production equipment to perform corrective and preventative maintenance for better equipment operation and process flow.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:Performs corrective maintenance and repairing on equipment used in the electronic industryPerforms scheduled preventative maintenance and work orders assigned on equipment used in the electronic industryAbility to understand and use work instructions, manufacturing instructions, and equipment manuals to troubleshoot and resolves equipment issuesAssists Production Machine Operators in troubleshooting equipment problems successfully, work with leadership on training and process improvementsAssist with production machine start-up/shut-down as neededParticipates in continuous improvement activitiesComplies and follows all company safety policies and proceduresOperates production equipment when production is short-staffedBe a mentor for production operatorsPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications include but not limited to:Experience working in manufacturing requiredElectro-mechanical background preferred2-year Technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experienceWorking knowledge of productivity tools, examples may include Microsoft Office and quality management softwareMust demonstrate mechanical competencyAbility to use hand/power toolsDemonstrates discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment. Uses professional and respectful communication with othersAbility to work with minimal supervision and guidanceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective organization and prioritization skillsDemonstrate high attention to detailUnderstanding of and ability to use continuous improvement toolsThe ability to work extended hours and weekends on a rotating schedule if neededAbility to pass standard position assessment within 90 days of employmentMilitary experience in electronic installation/repair, mechanical repair, and facility maintenance a plusPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsFrequent standing, bending and reachingTravel:Limited travel between all RIS facilitiesInfrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be requiredWork Environment:Manufacturing production floor
