Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) position at a healthcare facility in Hartford, Connecticut. The RN will provide care in a Medical, Rehabilitation, and Respiratory (LTAC) setting, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Hartford, Connecticut
• Specialty: Long Term Acute Care (LTAC)
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; 3 years of clinical experience; prior travel experience preferred; experience with respiratory/vented patients strongly preferred.
• Responsibilities: Responsible for IV starts, drips, administration of blood products, EKGs, medication titrations, glucose monitoring, wound vac changes, wound dressings, Trach care, suctioning, straight catheterization, Foley care, Port Access, central line dressing, wound measurements.
• Additional Information: The RN will be working in units with ratios varying from 1:5 to 1:12 depending on the specific unit. Float to like units at the facilitys satellite campus may be required, including respiratory care units, medically complex rehabilitation units, and TBI/chronic care units. Experience with respiratory or vented patients is strongly preferred. Nurses do not manage ventilators. Profiles must be clean and easy to follow; any issues will be sent back for corrections. Experience with respiratory/vented patients should be noted.
