Safety Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Manager for a leading beverage manufacturing and distillation organization. This candidate will lead safety and environmental programs across a complex operation supporting approximately 600 employees spanning production, bottling, warehousing, and distribution environments. They will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, investigating workplace incidents and conducting root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions, overseeing contractor safety and workers' compensation programs, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations. This individual will develop and deliver engaging safety training programs, support emergency response planning, and partner closely with operational leadership to build and sustain a proactive safety culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, allowing them to effectively influence employees at all levels of the organization, collaborate cross-functionally, drive accountability for workplace safety, and coach and develop a team of safety professionals.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or related field

• 8+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong OSHA and environmental regulatory compliance experience

• Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience

• Experience building and maintaining safety programs in manufacturing operations • 12+ years of EHS experience

• Previous leadership or team management experience

• CSP, CIH, or similar safety certifications

• Workers' compensation management experience

• Multi-site manufacturing, distribution, food & beverage, distillery, or chemical plant experience
