About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Internal Communications and Engagement. The successful candidate will be the enterprise leader responsible for a wide range of internal communication and engagement activities, including workforce and leadership communications, organizational change communications, and the development of internal campaigns. This role is pivotal in creating a more informed, engaged, and aligned workforce, and the VP will be tasked with evolving the organization's communication model to foster a modern, two-way engagement that supports dialogue, understanding, and action. The VP will also oversee the internal communications channels and platforms, ensuring a unified strategy that supports a consistent internal voice while allowing for local execution. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' leadership experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or related fields, with a Bachelor's degree required. The role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in communication and marketing, and the ability to connect enterprise priorities with the daily experiences of employees. Experience in highly regulated industries is essential, and a background in healthcare is strongly preferred. The VP will be expected to lead a high-performing team, partner with various stakeholders, and serve as a strategic advisor on communication and engagement strategies. The position also requires a leader who can drive organizational effectiveness, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensure that communication efforts are aligned with the company's mission, values, and business objectives.
