Job Title: Technical Support Engineer Location: TechM US NJ Bedminster Years of Experience: 10 15 Years Job Summary: The Technical Support Engineer will provide advanced technical support for network solutions, with a strong focus on 5G core functionalities. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of network protocols and be proficient in utilizing the IxNetwork and IxLoad platforms for testing and troubleshooting. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders. Responsibilities: Provide advanced technical support for network solutions, addressing customer inquiries and issues promptly. Conduct thorough testing of networking functions and features, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems related to 5G core functionalities. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, troubleshooting guides, and test cases. Participate in the design and implementation of new features and enhancements for networking systems. Train and mentor junior support engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices in network testing. Engage with customers to gather feedback and provide insights for product improvement. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in network solutions. Mandatory Skills: Strong expertise in L2 L7 feature testing and troubleshooting. Proficient in resolving complex technical issues related to network protocols. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non technical stakeholders. Experience in 5G core function and feature testing. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with L2 L7 network management tools and performance monitoring systems. Experience in scripting or programming languages for automation of testing processes, preferably Python or Tcl. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or VMware. Certifications related to network engineering. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10 15 years of experience in technical support or network engineering, with a focus on L2 L7 technologies. Proven track record of successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. The salaryfor this role is$60000 to $90000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
