Key Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Licensed Mental Health Therapist are diverse and impactful. Your day-to-day activities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and challenges. Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies tailored to address specific client issues. Facilitating individual therapy sessions through various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques. Establishing therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and regularly monitoring their progress to ensure the effectiveness of treatment. Providing teletherapy options for clients, ensuring accessibility regardless of their circumstances. Maintaining accurate and ethical documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to uphold the integrity of care provided. Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications: Current and valid state license as either an LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or PsyD. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, backed by an empathetic and non-judgmental disposition. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and therapy sessions. Preferred Experience While we welcome applications from a range of experiences, candidates with previous work in community mental health settings or those with a specialization in trauma-informed care will be given preference.
