Capital Markets Staff Attorney (8+ Years) – New York
Direct Counsel is seeking a Capital Markets Staff Attorney to join a leading law firm and support its commercial mortgage securitization practice . This role is ideal for an experienced real estate finance attorney with 8+ years of experience who is looking for a non-partnership track opportunity in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review disclosure in offering materials for commercial mortgage securitization transactions
Support capital markets and securitization transactions, including commercial real estate finance matters
Interact directly with clients and internal teams to facilitate transactions
Assist with loan-level due diligence as needed (preferred but not required)
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in real estate finance or capital markets
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and clients
Admission to the New York State Bar preferred
Compensation:
This is a non-partnership track role. The anticipated annual base salary range is $100,000–$430,000 , with actual compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and job-related factors.
