Accounts Receivable Specialist The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage credit and collections of customer accounts, including billing, dispute resolution, account setup, credit card processing, cash application, and adjustments. The role focuses on accurate record‑keeping, high‑volume customer communication, and efficient follow‑up. Work Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Responsibilities Collect past‑due invoices on a daily basis. Maintain accurate call log records and review accounts‑receivable aging. Reconcile customer accounts, process credit card payments, and execute adjustments. Communicate effectively with internal departments and management regarding customer accounts. Set up new accounts and evaluate the credit worthiness of new or existing customers. Assist with running reports, special projects, or serve as backup for other AR tasks. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred, with a minimum of 3 years’ credit and collections experience. Experience in high‑volume collections and a proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented approach. Excellent computer skills, especially proficiency in MS Office suite with emphasis on Excel. Experience using an ERP system and research tools. Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of accounting procedures and basic accounting principles. Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and draw valid conclusions. Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and colleagues effectively. Familiarity with Prophet21 is a plus. Team player who can work independently with minimal oversight. Willingness to grow, adapt, and develop in a fast‑paced environment. Strong commitment to delivering high customer satisfaction.
