Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Access Associate in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.13 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and security‑related policies at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or public agency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, document security‑related activities, and report observations, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures. Support emergency response activities, crowd management, and/or public assistance efforts when appropriate, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
