Staff Development Training Specialist For St. Louis Developmental Disabilities Treatment Centers Semi-Monthly Salary: $2,169.90 (The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. Years of service adjustments, shift differentials, and other targeted salary payments are applied to the total compensation of your paycheck and are subject to eligibility requirements of the appropriate differential.) Location South County Habilitation Center, 2312 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125. Working Hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Sunday/Saturday/Holidays off; however, you will need to be flexible in working various shifts as required by the facility’s training needs. What You’ll Do This is a specialized professional training and development position accountable for developing and delivering training programs, administering assessments and certification requirements, providing coaching, and ensuring knowledge transfer. Employees train staff in areas such as professional development, supervisory and managerial training, e-learning, and continuous improvement, using established educational requirements and job specific procedures and policies. This position will be responsible for teaching New Employee Orientation (NEO) as well as assisting with SLDDTC CORE classes including but not limited to CPR, First Aid, Safety Care, and Advanced Safety Care. Eligibility Two to four years of relevant training experience. Ability to obtain and maintain certification in all required trainings (CPR, Safety Care, Advanced Safety Care, etc.). Current DMH employees applying for this position must be free of discipline for six months. To promote to this position, you should be free of discipline for twelve months.
