Illinois Mutual is searching for an experienced Creative Production Supervisor to lead a talented team of designers, web developers, videographers, and multimedia professionals while helping shape the future of our brand across every customer touchpoint.

This is not your typical creative management position. We're looking for a creative leader who is equally comfortable discussing UI/UX strategy, directing a video shoot, reviewing front-end code, mentoring designers, brainstorming marketing campaigns, improving website accessibility, or helping redefine how our brand comes to life digitally.

What You'll Do

As Creative Production Supervisor, you'll serve as the creative leader for Illinois Mutual's Marketing Communications & Research team, overseeing a talented group of four creative professionals responsible for delivering high-quality experiences across print, digital, web, video, photography, social media, and emerging marketing technologies. 

Lead an Incredible Creative Team

• Mentor, coach and develop a team of creative professionals

Shape Our Creative Vision

• Lead the creative direction of Illinois Mutual's brand 
• Guide the visual strategy across all marketing channels 
• Ensure brand consistency across every customer’s experience 
• Partner with executive leadership on major initiatives and campaigns 

Drive Digital Innovation

• Lead website strategy and front-end development initiatives 
• Champion UI/UX best practices 
• Guide accessibility efforts aligned with WCAG standards 
• Collaborate closely with IT and digital teams on new experiences 

Create Amazing Work

Oversee the development of:

• Websites and landing pages 
• Digital campaigns 
• Print advertising 
• Video productions 
• Photography 
• Animation 
• Email marketing 
• Social media creative 
• Annual Reports 
• Presentations 
• Trade show experiences 
• Marketing collateral 
• Branded experiences across every platform 

Keep Big Projects Moving

Lead multiple high-profile initiatives simultaneously, including:

• Annual Report creative direction 
• Website enhancements and SEO initiatives 
• Agent Portal redesigns 
• Video production 
• Company-wide campaigns 
• Executive presentations 
• Digital marketing initiatives 
• Vendor partnerships and creative production 

Your work will directly influence many of the company's strategic marketing initiatives planned for 2026 and beyond, including website enhancements, digital experiences, annual reports, large-scale campaigns, video strategy, and brand modernization.

Anticipated Salary: $74,000 - $77,500

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Multimedia, Interactive Design, Fine Arts or related field 
• 10+ years of professional creative experience 
• 2+ years leading or supervising creative teams 
• Strong online portfolio showcasing design and multimedia work 
• Experience in graphic design, UI/UX, front-end development, video production and creative strategy 
• Strong communication, collaboration and project leadership skills 

Technical Experience

Experience with many of the following:

• HTML, CSS and JavaScript 
• Content Management Systems (Sitefinity or similar) 
• Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Audition, After Effect, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, Firefly)
• Adobe Workfront
• Figma 
• UI/UX Design 
• Video production and editing 
• Photography 
• Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
• Email marketing platforms 
• WCAG accessibility 
• AI-powered creative tools including ChatGPT 
• Creative project management platforms 
• Social media content creation 
• Insurance or financial services experience is a plus.
