Structured Finance Associate Attorney
Location: New York, NY
Experience: 4–7 years
Direct Counsel is seeking a 4th–7th year Structured Finance Associate Attorney to join the Finance practice of a leading Am Law firm. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with substantial experience handling sophisticated structured finance and securitization transactions who is interested in working on market-leading matters within a collaborative and growing practice.
Position Highlights4–7 years of relevant structured finance and securitization experience at a peer firm
Substantial experience advising on a broad range of structured finance transactions
Experience with transactions and products including:
Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs)
Collateralized Fund Obligations (CFOs)
Rated note feeders
ABCP conduit programs
Telecom and receivables securitizations
Consumer and student loan facilities
Other esoteric securitizations
Experience structuring, negotiating, and executing complex transactions
Strong experience drafting and negotiating core transaction documents
Ability to manage deal processes and multiple complex matters simultaneously
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar, or the bar of the jurisdiction in which the candidate will practice
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
New York, NY
While New York is the preferred location, other office locations may be considered for exceptional candidates.
