Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will involve working directly with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized therapy plans. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions with clients, focusing on their unique challenges and goals.

• Facilitating couple and family therapy sessions, addressing relational dynamics and fostering improvement in communication.

• Specializing in critical areas such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss issues, family conflicts, blended family dynamics, and adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.

• Utilizing therapeutic techniques to guide discussions around anxiety, stress management, and coping mechanisms.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of patient sessions and treatment plans.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as an LMFT will enable you to work with a diverse range of clients, including couples, families, and individuals facing various mental health challenges. You will notably support:

• Adults dealing with relationship and family issues.
\n
• Children and adolescents facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
\n
• Families navigating transitions, including divorce, separation, and blending family units.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
