Payroll Coordinator

Our client, a prominent manufacturing organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR & Payroll Coordinator to support payroll administration, employee records management, and daily human resources operations.

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding activities, and assisting with HR compliance and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:
Process payroll activities, including wage calculations, overtime, bonuses, shift differentials, and payroll audits to ensure accurate and timely employee payments.
Maintain employee records and HRIS data, including new hire information, employee status changes, and terminations.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, pay statements, tax documents, payroll deductions, and compensation adjustments.
Coordinate onboarding activities and process employment documentation, including offer letters, tax forms, I-9 verifications, and new hire paperwork.
Support day-to-day human resources operations and serve as a primary point of contact for routine employee questions and HR-related requests.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation related to payroll, recruiting, and HR administration.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience processing payroll and supporting human resources functions.
Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), preferably Dayforce.
Knowledge of payroll procedures, onboarding processes, employee records management, and recruiting practices.
Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard business software applications.
